The increasing threat of climate change, emphasized by a recent IPCC report, prompts Benin to prepare for COP 28 in Dubai. In a workshop spearheaded by the Ministry of Living Environment and supported by the PASCIB, different stakeholders gathered to consolidate solutions to major issues like rising sea levels, frequent flooding, drought, which threaten vital sectors like agriculture, water, and local economies. The national preparation aims to unify all parties’ stances in climate change combat and to contribute significantly to local community follow-ups.
