Projet Benkadi: le Bénin actualise son dossier MAB UNESCO en intégrant de nouveaux sites
Between November 7-9, 2023, significant progress was made in biodiversity preservation in Benin, with the approval of management plans for nine new sites, including the Mono and lower Ouémé valley. This momentous event, a result of meticulous work by a group of consultants under MAB UNESCO, CENAGREF, and the Benkadi Project, highlights a substantial advancement in sustainable practices for managing natural reserves. The integration of these nine new sites into the MAB UNESCO dossier underlines Benin’s ongoing commitment to conserving its natural wealth and exceptional biodiversity.
